Spiritist Doctrine and Jesus
The Spiritist Doctrine or Spiritism is based on three aspects:
Philosophy - Science - Religion
These three aspects intertwine and are equally important.
Spiritism is not an organized religion, since it has no
services, no rituals, no temples, and no clergy. Spiritism is
practiced with simplicity, within the Christian principle that God
should be worshipped in spirit and in truth. Spiritists consider
Jesus to be a guide and role model, and strive to follow His
teachings as a basis for an ethical way of life. In this sense,
many Spiritists call themselves Christians.
The Spiritist Doctrine is Christian without being Sectarian.
Spiritism recognizes the validity of and holds great respect for
all doctrines, all religions, and all beliefs. Because of its
Universal character, it can be studied, analyzed, and practiced
by anyone, anywhere. Spiritism never imposes its principles.
Instead it invites those interested in knowing more about it to
submit its teachings to the test of reason before accepting
them.
We invite YOU to educate yourself about Spiritism.
